A threaded insert nut (Rampa), also called a screw-in nut, is suitable for soft wood types and chipboard and has a self-tapping coarse external thread and a metric internal thread of M8. The insert nut is screwed into the pre-drilled hole. Once the insert nut has been fitted, you can easily screw in castors with threaded pins.
