Suede Upholstery Fabric – Soft Luxury for Every Interior

Our suede upholstery fabric has the fine, matte grain and the warm touch of real suede, but is constructed as microfiber upholstery fabric. This makes the fabric more colourfast, better resistant to daily wear and tear and easier to maintain suede learn.

suede looks best on armchairs, headboards, poufs, chair seats and decorative cushions. The soft grain creates a subtle color difference depending on the direction of the stroke; this gives the furniture a lively look, but it also means that you have to cut all parts in the same direction for an even result.

✅ Vacuum regularly with a soft brush head so that no dust remains in the grain.

✅ Remove stains immediately with a dry, white cloth and dab instead of rubbing.

✅ After cleaning, brush the grain back lightly in one direction to make the surface look even again.

✅ Always test a cleaning agent first on a residual piece or on an invisible spot.

Suede upholstery fabric is textile with the look and soft touch of suede. DEN Suede is 100% polyester, approximately 140 cm wide (usable), and weighs around 370 g/m². The fabric achieves over 30,000 Martindale, has a very high tensile strength (up to 1509 N), and a pilling grade of 4. This makes it suitable for furniture used on a daily basis.

The soft grain creates a subtle color difference depending on the direction of the stroke. This gives the piece of furniture a lively appearance, but it means that all parts must be cut in the same direction. Therefore, order more than enough in one go and take the grain direction into account when calculating the meterage.

Choose based on usage:

• Sofa or sectional sofa: suitable; pay attention to the grain direction and calculate enough meters.
• Dining chairs: average of 1.5 to 2 meters for a chair without armrests.
• Cushions and headboards: a good choice for adding warm, chic accents.
• Panels and decoration: the fabric is also suitable for wall panels.

Use sharp scissors and an appropriate needle, and lay all pieces in the same direction on the fabric. Check the grain beforehand by stroking it with your hand. Do you need small accessories, such as thread or a zipper? Then take a look at our sewing threads and zippers.
