Stik en Trek, 45 cm wide, white, per metre, is a non-adhesive, supporting and padding tear-away stabiliser that you stitch in and then tear away. You use it under the fabric for machine embroidery, as a backing for topstitching and for making various patchwork patterns.

Applications
This stabiliser is used as a backing for appliqué and for stitching shaped seams. It is also tacked to the back of the fabric while you work a monogram or embroidery on the right side, for example. The stabiliser gives the fabric support while stitching, so dense stitches do not pull or pucker. When you have finished, you tear the excess stabiliser away along the stitches, leaving only a thin edge. For patchwork you can draw the pattern on the stabiliser and stitch the fabric pieces accurately onto it.
