Applications

Pre-drill a hole of about 10.7 to 11 mm and turn the insert nut into the wood with an 8 mm Allen key. The self-tapping external thread grips in softwoods and chipboard, while the M8 internal thread is ready for a bolt or threaded stud.

You can then easily screw on castors with a threaded stud, for example, or fit furniture legs and joints that you want to be able to take apart later.
