Applications
Stay tape stabilises edges that quickly stretch out during sewing and wear, such as bias-cut necklines, armholes, shoulder seams and curved pocket openings. Iron the tape along the edge on the wrong side of the fabric before stitching. The black colour suits dark fabrics so the reinforcement does not show through. Thanks to the chain stitch, the tape keeps its length while still following the curve of a neckline or armhole smoothly. Set the iron to wool or 2 dots, so the adhesive bonds well without damaging the fabric.
