Applications

You iron the interfacing onto the wrong side of the fabric, after which the adhesive layer bonds and the fabric gains more body and shape. Use Vlieseline H180 for collars, cuffs, facings, button stands and pockets, but also for bags, cushions and other sewing where extra support is wanted. Choose white for light fabrics and black for dark fabrics. Because H180 stays supple, the fabric keeps its drape: a collar or facing becomes firmer without feeling stiff or cardboard-like. Cut the interfacing slightly smaller than the fabric piece, so that no adhesive gets beyond the edge.
