Gobelin fits perfectly with classic and rural interiors, but can also be used as an accent fabric in modern settings. Think of a stylish armchair with rich Gobelin upholstery or decorative cushions that add character.

Our tapestries (ARKI, SAMOS, SIROS, DELOS, MILO, ANDROS, CEA, and LEVITA) share the same composition: 45% polyester and 55% cotton, 330 g/m², 140 cm wide, and made in the EU. Therefore, your choice will primarily be based on design and color. When choosing, consider the scale of the motif: a large pattern looks better on a sofa or backrest than on a narrow chair seat.

Because the motif repeats, you will need more fabric than with a solid color if you want the pattern to stand out or run continuously. Measure your furniture and send the dimensions via WhatsApp; we will then calculate the required yardage with you.

• Gobelin: detailed woven motif, classic or country character. Suitable for normal residential use, with 18,000 Martindale cycles, pilling resistance level A, and UV protection factor 40+.
• Solid chenille or velvet: calmer appearance and higher abrasion resistance, useful for very intensively used sofas. View chenille upholstery fabrics and velvet.

Choose by usage:

• Chairs and dining chairs: a medium-sized motif or a solid base with gobelin as an accent.
• Sofas and armchairs: a sofa requires many meters; consider combining gobelin with a solid fabric for the sides or back.
• Cushions: ideal for highlighting a motif.
• Curtains and wall panels: the UV protection and colorfastness under artificial light make gobelin suitable for decoration.

Private individuals can request free samples and only pay for postage.

Cut all pieces in the same direction and lay out the pattern symmetrically so that it looks neat. Finish the cut edges to prevent fraying. You can find more fabrics to combine in our upholstery fabrics.

The fabric is washable at a maximum of 30 degrees; do not bleach and do not tumble dry. For upholstered furniture, vacuum regularly and blot stains immediately with a clean cloth, without rubbing.
